Court Victories Lead to Important Regulatory Change by CMS

On April 18, 2016, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released an Interim Final Rule modifying regulations that Glazer Law PLLC, had successfully challenged in two federal Courts of Appeals. Mr. Glazer is the only attorney in the nation to have successfully challenged the regulations. In the Interim Final Rule, CMS cited Mr. Glazer’s victories and concluded that it was appropriate to modify the regulations to bring them into accord with the two court decisions. It is rare for the hospital industry to obtain such a complete reversal of position by CMS on such an important issue. Mr. Glazer is proud to have been the attorney responsible for that result.
